Message from the Administrative Team
Dear Students and Families,
We would like to take this time to applaud all of your efforts during this Remote Learning process. Throughout the last two weeks, each of you has shown that when we work together, we can accomplish great things! Although we were all excited to return to school on April 20, 2020, the Mayor recently announced that we will need to extend our time away from school until at least April 29, 2020. This announcement also included an update to our school calendar which originally designated April 9 – April 17, 2020 as our Spring Break. We will now continue Remote Learning through those dates and students are expected to continue their learning through Google Classroom. Your teachers have been developing enrichment activities to complete during this time that will provide you with experiences that support the various content areas for each grade level. These activities will be posted daily on your Morning Message folder in Google Classroom. Please make sure to sign your daily attendance form and enjoy exploring the virtual field trips that your teachers have planned for you! Students are also encouraged to complete their iReady assignments in ELA and Math, as well as use this time to submit any incomplete classwork. We would like to wish all those celebrating a holiday in the next few days a happy and safe holiday at home with their families. We look forward to returning to school and seeing all of your smiling faces. We miss you all so very much!

NYC School Survey
Every year, all parents, teachers, and students in grades 6-12 take the NYC School Survey. The survey helps school leaders understand what key members of their school community think about the learning environment at their school. The information captured by the survey is designed to support a dialogue among all members of the school community about how to make the school a better place to learn.
The deadline is now June 26th
You can find more information and take the survey online by visiting the New York City Department of Education Survey Website.
